Knotty Luxe, Inc. v. City of Markham Local Liquor Control Commissioner; Case No. 25 APP 05
In September, Leslie won a case involving a Markham business that appealed the suspension of its retail liquor license and fine to the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. The ILCC affirmed the Markham Commissioner’s decision to suspend the license and issuance of a fine, agreeing that the business committed multiple violations of the Illinois Liquor Control Act. This is one of many liquor and business license matters that Leslie has been handling on behalf of the City and a PSA to all businesses in Markham – don’t even think about running your business without following the rules.
