Arlene Cabana started her legal career in her home state of Texas earning her Doctorate of Jurisprudence at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, before moving to Chicago where she continued practicing law. She is licensed in both Texas and Illinois and has practiced in the areas of school law, corporate, contract, construction law and litigation. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Before joining OMFM, Ltd., Arlene also held several leadership roles in the public education sector, including serving as President of the Pleasantdale School District 107 Board of Education, Pleasantdale PTO, and the Lyons Township High School Parent Teacher Council. In these roles, she led strategic initiatives, collaborated with public and school officials, and advocated for educational policy and community engagement. Her background in governance and policy development blends her practical experience and client-centered approach with her legal problem-solving skills.

Arlene currently resides in Burr Ridge with her husband – a pediatric dentist, and their three children, and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
